Power Industries' history begins in 1951 when the company founders, encouraged by a booming timber and agricultural economy, opened a small bearing and power transmission distributorship. The small store was really no more than a cramped storage room. From these humble beginnings they served the area's thriving industrial businesses with an inventory of bearings, industrial belts, and chain.
By 1955 the business had grown so large they had to find a new location. They moved to a larger location and continued to grow the business. Over the next 44 years the area's robust economy allowed the firm to continue to expand into new geographic areas as well as adding many new product offerings.
Today, Power Industries' three industrial outlets offer a full line of industrial products. They service a wide range of customers including original equipment manufacturers, food processors, pharmaceutical, optical, agricultural and lumber mills.
